"Compassionate." Brian understood my situation from the start.
A former youth hockey coach is facing criminal charges for sexually abusing young boys in Vermont and Massachusetts. Christopher Prew, 31, was arrested in Massachusetts in February 2018 after being accused of sexually abusing multiple boys he coached. Two months later, authorities in Vermont tacked on their own battery of charges after concluding an investigation into claims that Prew had abused a young child in that state, the Salem News reports.
Legal Support For Victims Of Christopher Prew
Were you or a loved one sexually abused by Christopher Prew? Our experienced personal injury attorneys can help. We believe you. The allegations of misconduct against Prew are truly shocking. In Vermont and Massachusetts, the former hockey coach has been accused of sexually abusing several young boys under his charge.
The allegations against Prew first emerged after the mother of a boy who Prew had been babysitting stepped forward and reported to authorities that her son had disclosed sexual abuse to her. After these initial allegations, multiple additional families came forward with their own allegations of similar misconduct.
Your Family's Rights
Thankfully, the criminal justice system is holding Prew to account for his alleged misconduct. But the former youth hockey coach has yet to be held accountable directly to the survivors of his alleged abuse. Our dedicated legal team can help. Your child has powerful legal rights under the civil legal systems of Massachusetts and Vermont. In some cases, survivors and their loved ones may be eligible to pursue a civil lawsuit against the parties responsible for the sexual abuse, including hockey clubs that failed to prevent the abuse.
We believe your child deserves justice. Sexual abuse can leave life-long scars, both physically and emotionally. Prew and his hockey clubs must be held responsible in a court of law.
