Ear, Nose & Throat Doctor Pleads "No Contest"

Dr. Ghaderi pleaded no contest to one count of indecent assault without consent of others, consenting to the charges but not admitting his guilt. He was sentenced to three months under electronic home monitoring, two years of probation and 15 years as a registered sex offender under Megan's Law. Ghaderi's medical license was also suspended for a temporary period by the Pennsylvania Board of Osteopathic Medicine.

Police records show that Dr. Ghaderi was accused of fondling a patient in April 2016. A patient said that the otolaryngologist performed a breast exam when she came in for help with ear pain. He allegedly told the 39-year-old woman that he wanted to make sure that her gynecologist had not overlooked any problems because of how young she looked. He allegedly put his hand down her pants and felt around her thighs and genitals.

Deputy District Attorney Michael Galantino, who negotiated Ghaderi's plea agreement, said "there are very limited reasons why a doctor in that field would have to do an exam lower than the neck and they did not apply here."

The ear, nose and throat specialist had offices on Springfield's Sproul Road and in Darby, Pennsylvania. He resides in Tredyffrin Township in Chester County.
