Santa Clarita Massage Therapist Arrested On Sexual Assault Charges

On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, Newhall, California police arrested a massage therapist on charges of sexual penetration by force, a felony crime. Jorge Panama, 54, was arrested at his massage center, Stretch Therapeutic Healing Spa, by deputies for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Department. Panama is accused of sexually assaulting a customer.

The charge against Panama suggests that he allegedly penetrated the customer against her will through the use of force. Authorities say that the alleged assault took place on Wednesday, at approximately 4 p.m. The victim came forward and reported the alleged incident to sheriff's deputies, saying that Panama had assaulted her.

Jorge Panama Charged For Sexual Penetration By Force

Deputies for the sheriff's department conducted an on-scene investigation and then arrested Panama, who was still at the massage spa. He has been charged with one count of sexual penetration by force. His bail has been set at $100,000, The Signal reports. If convicted, Panama faces a maximum prison sentence of eight years.

Stretch Therapeutic Healing Spa is located at 22942 Lyons Avenue in Santa Clarita. A Facebook page for Jorge Panama lists him as the owner of the massage spa.
