How Max represents New Jersey survivors

Max focuses his New Jersey practice on people who were harmed by someone they were supposed to be able to trust — a therapist, a psychiatrist, a staff member, or an institution that failed to protect them. He handles sexual assault, psychiatrist and mental-health-professional abuse, and human and sex trafficking matters, building each case on documentation, records, and patient-safety principles rather than pressure.

The Weitz Firm's patient-safety roots carry directly into this work. That orientation — looking closely at how a system or a professional breached its duty — gives survivors a path to pursue civil accountability on their own terms, at a pace they control. You decide what you are comfortable sharing, and Max's team handles the legal weight from there.
