The school is ranked number 6 out of 1,102 in the Most Diverse Public Elementary Schools in Indiana on Niche.com. Niche also gave the elementary school an overall grade of a C. GreatSchools gives it a rating of a 2 out of 10.
Lakeside Park is a 23.8-acre park in Northside. Situated on Lake Avenue, it was purchased in 1908 from the Fort Wayne Land and Improvement Company. Previously prone to flooding and stagnation from the St. Joseph River, the park currently features:
