A Florida massage therapist has been arrested and charged for sexual battery. Seminole County authorities say Alfredo Barreras, 24, touched a client inappropriately during a massage session on August 7, 2018, WESH reports. Barreras has admitted to the misconduct.
Alfredo Barreras last worked at the Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa at 1210 International Parkway South in Lake Mary, Florida. He has been licensed as a massage therapist in Florida since May 2014, working at Hand and Stone since 2015.
According to police records, the victim alleges that the massage therapist acted inappropriately during a relaxation massage. As she told police authorities, Barreras “touched […] on her clitoris, grabbed both her breasts and placed his mouth on both of her nipples.” The client says she was “uncomfortable and shaking” during the incident.
She reported the incident to the police, who proceeded to interview Barreras on September 7, 2018. Barreras admitted that he touched the woman’s vagina while massaging her leg. He also confessed to having placed his mouth “over one of her breasts,” which were exposed. “Barreras said that he should have walked out but he didn’t,” authorities write.
He was subsequently arrested. Barreras has been charged with both misdemeanor and felony charges in connection to the assault. He was transported to the John E. Polk Correctional Facility and held on a $40,500 bond.
