Granger is a census-designated place (CDP) in the county of St. Joseph, Indiana. Situated in Clay and Harris townships, it is part of the South Bend – Mishawaka metropolitan area and borders the Michigan-Indiana state line. Communities within proximity to Granger are Notre Dame, Georgetown, Roseland, South Bend, River Park, Mishawaka and Pleasant Valley. It was established in 1883 and is named after the Grangers fraternal organization. As of the 2010 census, Granger has a total area of 26.2 square miles and a population of 30,465 people.

Sunny Haven Recreation Park is a modern nudist park established in 1947. Operated as a member cooperative organization, the co-op, private, family-oriented park is a great place for visitors looking for daytime recreation, relaxation and camping.
