Pinetop-Lakeside is a town situated in Navajo County, Arizona. It was established in 1984 through the merge of the towns of Pinetop and Lakeside. It lies in between the communities of Show Low and McNary and is within proximity to Pinedale, Silver Creek and Vernon. Surrounded by extensive forest, the town is a popular second-home and summer resort for Arizona desert residents. In 2002, the Rodeo-Chediski Fire forced residents in Pinetop-Lakeside to evacuate and threaten their livelihood. As of the 2010 census, the town has a population of 4,282 people and a total area of 11.3 square miles.

Woodland Lake Park

Woodland Lake Park is a neighborhood park located on East Woodland Lake Road in Pinetop-Lakeside. It is open every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and provides a scenic recreational space for residents and visitors to enjoy. As the centerpiece of the community, it offers amenities such as:

The district includes recreational sites with developed and undeveloped areas. A major attraction of Lakeside Ranger District is its rivers, streams, lakes and reservoirs. It is open on Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Lake of the Woods Resort

Lake of the Woods Resort is a 25-acre rustic cabin resort in Pinetop-Lakeside. Situated in the White Mountains, guests can choose from 26 cabins and 7 condo-style units. The resort is also home to a private lake that is always stocked with rainbow trout. Also found in the lake are catfish, largemouth bass and bluegills. Visitors can spend time fishing or go boating. Unfortunately, swimming is prohibited in the lake.
The resort also features two jacuzzis, a dry sauna, two recreation rooms with two ping pong tables and a pool table, shuffleboard courts, a horseshoe pit, and a playground. Rates for the resort range from $99 to $509, depending on how many nights you are planning to stay.
