A Pennsylvania judge, Michael Schechterly of Perry County, has recently been charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year old boy in 2012. A witness in the trail also told investigators that Schechterly touched himself inappropriately when the child was present.
The 58-year-old has been charged with unlawful contact with children as well as the corruption of minors and indecent assault. He worked with youth through his church where he participated in a program called the "Royal Rangers," and where his role was "Commander Mike."
The state police were informed that he took children to his home and to the district court. Investigators also heard him discussing his mastrubation habit as well as a porn addiction. An affidavit states that the boy took his hand and put it on the child's croch, but then changed the version of evetns to say the boy took his own hand and put it on Schechterly's genitals. He is due for a preliminary court hearing on November 23.
