Sexual Assault Survivors Deserve A Strong Advocate

Please know that you are not alone. Our dedicated attorneys are here to help. We believe you.

Many sexual assault survivors fear coming forward. Some are afraid that they will be labeled as liars, or that people will say they were "asking for it." Others fear bringing back traumatic memories, hoping to put the incident behind them and move on with their lives.

All of these reactions are valid and unique. At the same time, we believe that coming forward to share your story can be an immeasurably empowering experience. Sexual assault need not define you as a person. You are a vibrant, beautiful individual who deserves to be heard. We believe your story should be told. No one deserves to be violated. No one deserves to feel afraid about coming forward.

USOC Accused Of Failing Young Athletes

The United States Olympic Committee is facing a true crisis of sexual assault complaints. Hundreds of young women, student athletes, have stepped forward to accuse the USOC of creating a culture in which sexual abuse reports were ignored or concealed.

In their personal injury lawsuits, these brave women claim to have substantial evidence showing that the USOC puts its own reputation and profits ahead of player safety. Many of these lawsuits come to involve universities.

Universities Face Legal Backlash In Wake Of Sex Abuse Crisis

The ongoing Larry Nassar scandal has consumed Michigan State University, where Nassar, now a convicted child molester, worked as a USOC-affiliated sports doctor for years. Michigan State is accused of failing to protect young student athletes, failing to act upon sexual abuse reports over the course of decades and employing a known child molester for years without exerting sufficient oversight.

These serious allegations will be heard out in court, but they are joined by similar allegations that have been leveled against the University of Southern California and Ohio State University. In a new class action lawsuit, one former Olympic-track diver at Ohio State accuses her alma mater of failing to protect her from abuse, while leveling claims of athlete exploitation at the US Olympic Committee.

Attorneys Launch Northwestern Sexual Assault Investigation

We believe sexual abuse may be widespread throughout Olympic-level athletics, including at Evanston's Northwestern University. In court documents filed across the country, young student athletes allege that sexual abuse is a fact of life for thousands of Olympic-track athletes. This is a national problem, one that has only been made worse by the US Olympic Committee's policies and practices, the plaintiffs say.

As a result of these damning allegations, our experienced sexual assault attorneys have launched a full investigation into Northwestern and its policies around sexual assault reports. We believe that some young student athletes at Northwestern, including recent alumni, may be eligible to pursue justice by filing civil lawsuits. We are here to help.
