A Pasadena psychologist has been accused of assaulting at least two patients. Authorities believe Edgar Gustavo Villamarin may have victimized other women and are reaching out for tips from the community. Villamarin, 64, serves as a family and marriage counselor from his office in the 100 block of Orange Place in Pasadena, according to KTLA5.
Villamarin has been charged with two counts of assault with intent to commit a felony, two counts of false imprisonment by violence, two counts of sexual battery by restraint and one count of attempted sexual assault by restraint. Police are now searching for additional victims. Authorities say Villamarin assaulted two women during therapy sessions.
