Muncie Nurse Accused Of Sexual Assault

Nathaniel Abraham Mosco was arrested on January 18, 2019 following an internal investigation by Ball Memorial Hospital's police department. The victim - a woman in her 70s - told authorities that Mosco had fondled her on three separate occasions at the Muncie hospital. Interviewed by police, the victim said that before the first incident, Mosco told her he was planning to clean some medical equipment, but then began to fondle her, saying he wanted to "make her feel good." She also says that Mosco administered her pain medication that she had not asked for before two of the assaults. Mosco was arrested soon after.

In the wake of Mosco's arrest, Neil Gifford, director of the hospital's marketing and communications, told reporters, "we took immediate action and are participating fully with a thorough investigation." Mosco's nursing license was put on emergency suspension by Indiana regulators in early February.
