Oak Grove Lake Park is a scenic 65-acre park in the neighborhood of Greenbrier West. Situated on Byron Street, it offers the following amenities:

The 48-acre "Nature's Classroom" promotes environmental and horticultural awareness through education, display and research. Designated as Virginia's Treasure, it has one of the finest trail systems in the state. The arboretum features eight bridges, three miles of walking or hiking trails, the 3-acre Lake Hughes, the 1830s Caleb Williamson Farm House, the Camellia Cove that's part of the American Camellia Trail, gazebos and picnic areas with tables, propagation nursery, and a master gardener area with greenhouse. Operated by the City of Chesapeake Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, it is open daily from dawn to dusk.
