Bethel Park is a municipality with home rule status in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Also known as the Municipality of Bethel Park, the borough is part of the Pittsburg metropolitan area. It was originally settled approximately around 1800. In 1886, the area was established as Bethel Township. On March 17, 1949, Bethel Park was incorporated as a borough. It later gained home rule status in 1978.

Hundred Acres Manor Haunted House was opened in 2003 as a charity haunted house. Located on Hundred Acre Drive in Bethel Park, all the profits for the haunted attraction go to The Homeless Children's Education Fund and Animal Friends. The property originally housed a pool and community hall and was the former site of the Phantoms in The Park attraction. As the best haunted attraction in Pittsburgh, according to HauntWorld magazine, it features six themed houses and gives out 100 free shirts per night. Tickets are $27 for general admission, $40 for VIP, and $50 for super VIP. The operating season is from September through November.
The Municipality of Bethel Park is home to five parks that offers residents and visitors a wide variety of athletic and recreational activities. One of the parks is Millennium Park on Baptist Road. As the biggest park out of the five, it encompasses 40 acres of land. The park feature recreational amenities such as a soccer, lacrosse and multipurpose field, one lighted youth baseball and softball field, one regular youth baseball and softball field, a lighted adult softball field, play apparatus with slide, spring see-saw, swing set, soccer ball kickboard, a sports court, a walking trail, two batting cages, and restroom facilities.
The Bethel Park Shopping Mall caters to everyone living in the Bethel Park borough. Providing everything you need for all your daily necessities, it offers a number of stores, dining options and services. These include Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, Rice Inn, PNC Bank, Walmart, Giant Eagle Supermarket, Subway, Firestone Complete Auto Care, Wendy's, Pep Boys, and GameStop.
