Lynnhaven Shores is a peninsula of the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. It is bounded by the Lynnhaven Roads of the Chesapeake Bay on its north, west, and south sides and the First Landing State Park on its east side. First Landing State Park

First Landing State Park was the location where English colonists first landed in 1607, hence the name. As the most visited state park in Virginia, it was once a source of freshwater for pirates, merchant mariners and military ships. The park was built between 1933 and 1940 by the African-American Civilian Conservation Corps. It features:
