About Baldwin

Baldwin is a borough at the geographical coordinates of 40.357222 degrees north latitude and 79.969444 degrees west longitude. Located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, it is also part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. The area is bordered by:

The borough is named after U.S Congressman and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Henry Baldwin. On October 27, 1950, Baldwin Borough was incorporated from Baldwin Township. In 2010, it had a population of 19,767 people.

Storms Restaurant and BYOB

For a more unique and local dining experience, Storms Restaurant and BYOB is a must visit. As the first and only BYOB (Bring Your Own Beer) establishment in Whitehall, it is located in the Baldwin Borough on Curry Road. The restaurant is a great place to grab lunch, wind down after work with friends and family, or celebrate a special occasion. The below-ground nook offers a unique BYOB experience and a variety of classic Italian-American cuisines. It is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Saturdays, it is open from 4 to 9 p.m. On Sundays, it is open from 3 to 7 p.m.

Elm Leaf Park

Elm Leaf Park is a recreational park in the northern part of Baldwin Borough. Opened from dawn to dusk, the park features amenities like a batting cage, playground, softball field, basketball court, swimming pool, locker room, concession stands, picnic areas, picnic shelters, picnic tables, trails, parking, and restrooms. The park also offers a pavilion available for rental. Reservations are $100 per day.
