In a new lawsuit, a former diver at Ohio State accuses the University of mishandling her sexual abuse case. The diver, who trained through the USA Diving-affiliated Ohio State Diving Club, says USA Diving and Ohio State allowed one of her coaches to sexually exploit her for years, despite having evidence of the man's misconduct.
If true, her allegations mark a dramatic new stage in the sexual abuse crisis that has gripped USA Gymnastics, USA Swimming, USA Taekwondo and now USA Diving. Ohio State is implicated as a defendant in the class action, shocking proud Buckeyes across the country.
