Centerville Park is a 90-acre park just outside the southeastern boundary of Great Bridge East, on Centerville Turnpike S. Managed and operated by the City of Chesapeake Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, it is open daily from sunrise to sunset. It features 22 multipurpose fields, a restroom building and paved parking. Local soccer clubs and residents in the area are often seen utilizing the park for organized activities or simple family fun times. If funding becomes available, the city plans on expanding Centerville Park to include a dog park, BMX and Skate Park, community center, and more.
